| This glitch can be performed in all games of the Halo trilogy. Please note that in Halo 3 alone, the player shouldn't have a secondary weapon.
| |
| | |
| This glitch can be performed in three different ways:
| |
| | |
| 1) This is farmost the simplest way for it to work and has been discovered recently. This can be performed with one player during forge. Spawn a weapon (BR recommended) and put it on the floor. Switch back to player mode and aim your reticule on the blue spawn point (Shaped like a drop). Cycle through forge and player mode to check that the aiming point in player and forge mode is on the drop. In player mode, quickly pick up the weapon and go to forge mode and delete the spawn point. This must be done quickly or else this trick won't work. Once you are done, switch back into player mode and you will be with no weapon. this is much simpler once you get the hang of it. If you enter a vehicle and get out, you will take out your original weapon. If you ever press the Y button you will take out your weapon. Elites model seemed to have a melee scripted, as if they were taken out directly from the campaign mode itself. They will lunge at enemies but are unable to hurt them. The melee button (B) does not work for SPARTANS when you have a weapon unless you press (Y) twice. if you press it once, the weapon will show but the melee will not work. This way is simpler because it only involves one player and is not that difficult to get used to. It also takes less time to do. This glitch must be done with a good connection if playing with other players.

| 2) This can also be performed with two players, but is very difficult. In Forge mode, have player spawn any weapon. Then, have player two pick that weapon up. As soon as player two picks up the weapon, player one has to delete it. If timed correctly, player two should have no weapon.
| |
| | |
| 3) It can also be done by charging a Plasma Pistol and picking up the ball in a game of Oddball. If the player backs up as soon as they pick up the ball, they will have no weapon.

| The no-weapon animation in all Halo games is somewhat awkward, as it looks almost like the player is in a stance ready to throw an invisible football.
