They've Always Been Faster
They've Always Been Faster is an Achievement in Halo: Reach. It is awarded for completing the 2nd campaign mission, Winter Contingency, without setting foot in a drivable vehicle.[1]
It is represented by a winged MJOLNIR boots, making a reference to the winged sandals of Hermes, which were said to make him extremely fast.
Trivia
The achievement's name is a reference to a quote by Cortana, when referring to the superiority of Covenant slipspace technology - "The Covenant ships have always been faster."[2]
