Amtower was a helmsman and navigation officer on the UNSC Navy cargo ship Dartmouth.[1]

On September 24, 2517, when the Dartmouth arrived in the Eridanus system, they detected several approaching non-UNSC craft. While Welke requested an escort from the local UNSC base, Amtower was ordered to fly the ship to Eridanus II. As the rebel craft closed in on the ship, the rest of the crew, the captain, McNally and Welke went to repel the boarders while Amtower was to stay on the bridge to continue their course toward Eridanus. However, the rebels seized the ship using towing cables and the rest of the crew was quickly gunned down by the boarders. Amtower's ultimate fate is unknown.[1]
