We all saw how the Avalanche vehicles were based on some cut content, mainly the snow 'Hog. Is there any possibility that Bungie could give 343/Certain Affinity the program code for this to add it to any new maps made in the future (assuming the prgramming for it existed in the first place)? :Forge mode cannot be updated; nor can the maps. Once it is written onto the disk, it cannot be removed. This is the reason why Bungie had to make new map variants (eg."SAND TARP" rather than simply updating "Sandtrap"). In Forge, the selection for a map can't be updated, either. So, to answer your question: No. New vehicles cannot be added onto any already-existing maps, only to new maps before they are released.-- <font color="blue">Fore</font><font color="green">run</font><font color="red">ner</font> 16:51, 24 March 2011 (EDT) |

Reintegration
We all saw how the Avalanche vehicles were based on some cut content, mainly the snow 'Hog. Is there any possibility that Bungie could give 343/Certain Affinity the program code for this to add it to any new maps made in the future (assuming the prgramming for it existed in the first place)? Furthermore, would it be possible for such an add-on to be backwards compatible with earlier maps, such as Forge World? --Delta1138 SnooPING AS usual I see 16:08, 24 March 2011 (EDT)
- Forge mode cannot be updated; nor can the maps. Once it is written onto the disk, it cannot be removed. This is the reason why Bungie had to make new map variants (eg."SAND TARP" rather than simply updating "Sandtrap"). In Forge, the selection for a map can't be updated, either. So, to answer your question: No. New vehicles cannot be added onto any already-existing maps, only to new maps before they are released.-- Forerunner 16:51, 24 March 2011 (EDT)
