Template:SPARTAN Infobox SPARTAN-B170 was one of 418 candidates recruited for the SPARTAN-III program in 2539, and one of 300 SPARTANs produced by the program.
Background
In May 2545, Lieutenant Commander Kurt Ambrose attempted to have SPARTAN-B170 and Lucy-B091 sent on deep, long-term reconnaissance to avoid the anticipated bloodbath of Operation: TORPEDO. Ultimately, Lucy would particpate in Operation: TORPEDO, though the fate of SPARTAN-B170 is unknown. SPARTAN-B170's name, rank, and gender also remain unknown.[1]
