The UNSC Savannah was a frigate in service with the UNSC Navy during the Human-Covenant War.[1] The Savannah participated in the Fall of Reach in Fall 2552, where it aided in the defense of Anchor Nine during Operation: UPPERCUT, later being escorted by multiple Pelicans and Sabre fighters to board a Covenant corvette.[2]

History

The Savannah too part in Operation: UPPERCUT, docking at Anchor 9 space station for the removal of its Shaw-Fujikawa Translight Engine for use as a makeshift bomb to destroy the Covenant Supercarrier Long Night of Solace. Escorting a flightgroup of YSS-1000 Sabre fighters en route to a Covenant Corvette, the Savannah assisted in destroying the ships fighter complement and disabling the enemy ship's thrusters as SPARTAN-B312 and Jorge-052 boarded the ship. While the two Spartans and their Marine support fought to secure the ship's bridge, the Savannah was destroyed by a plasma salvo, lost with all hands.
