This level of the Halo Wars Game is amongst one of the hardest. There is a Super Scarab walker being constructed and you must destroy it before it destroys you. Luckily the Scarab is immobile, but its head is still movable. You can slow down the head's movements by destroying several power nodes located around the map, which can be traced by following pipes coming from the Scarab. There are several ruins located all over the map to hide your units behind when the scarab head looks toward them. You are allowed control of only one base which has around 20 ruins defending it to protect from the Scarab's gun. Warthogs and the MAC Cannon are essential in this mission. Fire the MAC Cannon when ever you can on the Scarab and train Warthogs (being the fastest UNSC ground unit in the game) to quickly take out the power nodes. It is best to upgrade Warthogs to Gauss and send them out in groups of 4-5. A good tactic is to do all this, and then attack the scarab with a force built up behind the mountain on the far right side of the map. It is recommended that you do not start your assault until 3-4 power nodes are down.
There is also a helpful glitch to this level. You start out with 2 squads of Marines. If you give them the upgrade "New Blood" and garrison them in a sniper tower, the Scarab will fire at them but is unable to damage them. However, if any of your units cross the beam, then the Scarab's movements go back to normal. It should also be noted that the Scarab sometimes moves on from the Marines, regardless if you have crossed it's sight path.
