"Halo Blue" is the name currently thought to actually be a new Halo game from Bungie.

Overview

"Halo Blue" was first discovered when an entry for the product on the Wal-Mart database appeared in a picture taken from Wal-Mart's intranet. According to this entry the product is set to be released 30th September 2008, although this is likely to be a placeholder date.[1]

Despite a considerable level of expectancy from Halo fans for more information on "Halo Blue" to be released during Microsoft's press conference at E3 2008 there was no information announced on any new Halo projects.

It is thought that "Halo Blue" was the codename or working title for a Halo project of a different name as it had been confirmed that it was not the codename for Halo: Chronicles which is a completely separate Halo project altogether.

Trivia

  • Halo Blue might be a "Level Editior" of sorts; containing Bots, and a gigantic empty map, similar to Foundry, but bigger and better.
  • Halo Blue may also just be a USB flash drive, though if it is in any way related to Halo, or Bungie in any way is uncertain.
