An unnamed Fleet under command of Fleet Admiral Harper. During the First Battle of Earth on October 20th, 2552, Harper was ordered to form a defensive perimeter around the Cairo's battle Cluster. Harper then commanded his fleet directly into the Covenant foced, whilst the UNSC Home Fleet policed the skies[1].
Shortly after the Covenant arrival, the Fleet was split into two groups:
- First Echelon was controlled by Harper and was in charge of destroying the CCS-class Battlecruisers
- Second Echelon was charged in stopping the Assault Carriers.
Eight Marathon-class Cruisers and sixteen Frigates were in Harpers fleet[2]. They appeared briefly in the opening cutscene to "Cairo Station," on the Cairo's main computer screen.
