Alpha Aurigae, also known as Capella, was a UNSC-colonized star system, located 42.2 light-years from Sol. It was invaded on October 21, 2526 by the Covenant. Admiral Cole's fleet responded, defeating the Covenant fleet in the Origami Asteroid Field within the system, but taking heavy casualties in the battle.[1] The fate of the colony, whether it was glassed or not, and the state of any survivors, is unknown.
Preston Cole was known to occasionally enjoy Vodka produced in the system.[2]
