Description
The Anti-Vehicle Barrier is a wall of plasma energy used to stop vehicles and weapons, much like a shield door, except on a larger scale. It bears a resemblance to a deployable cover and the generator is the same as the Halo 3 Anti-Vehicle Barrier. important to place troops behind the barrier to protect it. it can give you time to increase your defences and forces. better to make after a certain period of time. Used by the Covenant, it was first seen in use on Harvest[1] and on the Tsavo Highway, to prevent UNSC forces from reaching Voi.[2]
Trivia
- It's only effective in halting vehicles and projectiles: a soldier on foot can traverse it harmlessly.
- It can be taken down by a Wraith shot if you hit it in a specific spot.
- The generator is very weak. It can, and should be taken down by melee.
