History

The Destroyer was only seen during the Battle of the Flood-controlled Shield World. It was sent to intercept the UNSC Spirit of Fire, engaging the Human ship almost immediately upon the its entrance to the Shield World. Despite attempted maneuvers the two ships collided, causing significant damage to the Spirit, including destroying a portion of its supply of Pods, while minimal damage was done to the Destroyer, due in part to its shields. The two ships soon opened fire on each other, the Destroyer quickly destroying many of the Spirit of Fire's deck guns.[2] It soon sent out Banshees and Type-25 Troop Carriers to continue the assault and destroy the Spirit of Fire's damaged power core. However, the Spirit of Fire, despite the heavy assault, managed to repair its power core and escape.[1]

The Destroyer's ultimate fate is unknown. It might very well have been the ship ferrying the High Prophet of Regret back to High Charity.
