Lake Gusev was a lake on the human colony world of Eridanus II. The boy who would become John-117 saved Parisa's life once when she walked too far into the lake. A picture of a six-year-old John with Parisa was also taken by Parisa's father on the beach of the lake a month before John's conscription to the SPARTAN-II Program.[1]
