An Armory is a storage room for weapons, quite common on UNSC ships.
Halcyon-Class Cruisers have more than 2 Armories; one near the Bridge and a larger one near Engineering.
The weapon holders in Armories can hold virtually any UNSC weapon: Shotguns, Assault Rifles, Pistols and Rocket Launchers.
During the events of Installation 04, the Halcyon-Class cruiser UNSC Pillar of Autumn's Armories were almost completely emptied of their weaponry during a raid on the ship bu UNSC forces. The retrieved weapons were taken by Pelicans to Alpha Base and distributed to the personnel. This made it harder for John-117 to battle the Flood and the Covenant at the same time during his mission on board the ship. Among the weapons that were noticeably absent from the only shown Armoury were sniper rifles and pistols.
