The Machete was a weapon that was going to be in Halo PC. However, it was a pre-Xbox render that was deleted after the end of the production.
Theories
- A possible reason for the Machete not being in the Halo games was that you would be using a sword on enemies wearing strong armor. If you were to strike them, logically then the sword would just bend.
Trivia
- It is possible that the Brute Shot's blade was Bungie's way of compensating for the machete's deletion.
- The Energy Sword was probably going to be the counterpart of the Machete.
