Located on the planet Reach, The Reach Military Wilderness Training Preserve was used to train soldiers the basics of wilderness survival. It is located in either the southern hemisphere or the north pole, as it is seen to be covered in snow in July[1].
It was used by the Spartan-IIs in 2519 to further augment their survival skills and teamwork. During this mission, John-117 distinguished himself as a leader and was promoted to squad leader.
The facility was presumed destroyed, due to the glassing of the planet after the Battle of Reach in 2552.
