In Halo: Combat Evolved, Glitches have a different definition entirely.  Glitches are only a section within [[Stunt]]sWhich include an estimated 10,000 exploits within the game.
In Halo: Combat Evolved, the word "Glitch" has been replaced with the word [[Stunt]].  There are over 10,000 Stunts, or for that case, glitches, in [[Halo: PC]].  In the xbox version of Halo: Combat Evolved, there are equal if not more stunts.  However, the major difference between Halo: PC and Halo for Xbox, is that the PC version has barriers arround the levels which make [[Location]] stunts easier.  The xbox version also has the option of co-op, which allows certain campaign stunts to be done.  It also makes Campaign Launching far more easier.
Glitches in Halo: Combat Evolved are Stunts where you get vehicles inside of objects, such as floors, portals, walls, and pillars.  The point at which the vehicle gets into these objects is often refered to as its [[Break Point]].  For example, the [[Ghost]] has 5 known break points.  The seat, the wings, the guns, the cross-section, and the middle.

Glitches are either errors or bugs in any program (game, software, etc.) that can cause undesired or interesting results. In relation to Halo, glitches can be exploited in many ways to make the game interesting or annoying.

Halo: Combat Evolved Examples

In Halo: Combat Evolved, the word "Glitch" has been replaced with the word Stunt. There are over 10,000 Stunts, or for that case, glitches, in Halo: PC. In the xbox version of Halo: Combat Evolved, there are equal if not more stunts. However, the major difference between Halo: PC and Halo for Xbox, is that the PC version has barriers arround the levels which make Location stunts easier. The xbox version also has the option of co-op, which allows certain campaign stunts to be done. It also makes Campaign Launching far more easier.

Halo 2 Examples

In Halo 2, many glitches resulted from unforeseen actions the developers did not think could occur. Players could do things such as Super Jumping or Super Bouncing, get past Invisible Walls to get out of maps, etc. "Button Combos" also existed, such as one that would allow you to kill a player instantly.

Halo 3 Examples

Halo 3 has been greatly combed over for glitches by a considerable amount of players, but Bungie has put way too much effort into making sure that there are few, if any, in Halo 3. There are a few that do exist in active gameplay though, such as the Mine Glitches, floating objects, driving an AA Wraith, going under the playable area of Construct, fusion coil glitches, making Elephants fly, and the Elephant speed boost.. Click here here for a list of several glitches in Halo 3.
