Ring the Bell was the game that the SPARTAN-II trainees played on their first day of training in order to earn their dinner. The object of the game was to reach the top of several poles and rope raiments, have each member of your team ring the bell and then cross the finish line with your team. The last team to finish wouldn't get any dinner. Also note that at the first time the game was played by the trainees, John-117 misunderstood the rules of the game, sped ahead and finished first, but didn't help his teammates, Samuel-034 and Kelly-087 - causing all of them to lose and they all had to go without dinner that night.
