Although they do not appear in any of the Halo games, the Covenant They were fully realized in design terms. Their combination of insect organics and cybernetics makes them a unique-looking creature in the Covenant bestiary. And since they can actually fly, with the aid of gas-filled bladders on their backs, they behave differently, too.
