The Skidbladnir transported those colonists who chose to leave other planets and settle on Harvest. It was held in orbit for more than a year while contruction of all the basic infrastructure for the Tiara and space elevators. Once that was finished, the ship was brough down to Havests surface where it was scrapped for parts, especially its engines, which where used to power Utgard.

The UNSC Skidbladnir was a Phoenix-class Colony Ship of the UNSC Navy [1]. It was captianed with the assistance of the A.I. Loki.

The Skidbladnir transported those colonists who chose to leave other planets and settle on Harvest. It was held in orbit for more than a year while contruction of all the basic infrastructure for the Tiara and space elevators. Once that was finished, the ship was brough down to Havests surface where it was scrapped for parts, especially its engines, which where used to power Utgard.
