Chur'R-Yar is the Kig-yar Shipmistress of the Covenant missionary vessel Minor Transgression. [1] She had light yellow skin and ruby-red eyes. She discovered the planet Harvest and found many relics. She attempted to keep some of the supposed relics for herself and disabled the Luminary and threatened the Unggoy Dadab to keep quiet. She was severely wounded by Sergeant Johnson when he and Byrne investigated the captured freighter This End Up. She died when she blew up a methane tank, attempting to kill Johnson. Minor Transgression was also destroyed by the explosion.
