The Commando Unit[1] is a Covenant Separatist Sangheili unit equipped with stealth armor, an Energy Sword, a Plasma Rifle, and Plasma Grenades. They were colored a cyan shade. It is part of the Special Warfare Group.
Its operatives were equipped and issued with the superior-quality and lighter-weight Commando Harness compared to the standard-issue Combat Armor in Halo 3.

- The Commando Armor is an Armor Permutation unlockable for use in Halo 3 Multiplayer.
