It is said it will be the scariest map of all time. Dark, frightening and surprisingly enormous. It will includes vehicles (a [[Mongoose]] was mentioned in the update on [http://www.bungie.net/News/content.aspx?type=topnews&cid=12857 10-12-07]), but [[Bungie]] have also said that it will not 'need' them, possibly hinting at the use of [[Man Cannons]] already seen in maps like [[Narrows]].

Template:Multiplayer Map Infobox Rat's Nest[1] is the name of a map that is announced in the Bungie Weekly Update: 10/12/07.[2] It will be available for download on Xbox Live Marketplace in the future.

It is said it will be the scariest map of all time. Dark, frightening and surprisingly enormous. It will includes vehicles (a Mongoose was mentioned in the update on 10-12-07), but Bungie have also said that it will not 'need' them, possibly hinting at the use of Man Cannons already seen in maps like Narrows.

On 11/19/07, Microsoft released information regarding the first Halo 3 Heroic Map Pack. [3] The new name for this map will be "Rat's Nest," based off of a level from campaign mode. The map pack will retail for 800 Microsoft Points ($10 USD) on 12/11/07.
