"Pelican" is the name applied to a series of dropships operated by the UNSC Marine Corps and UNSC Navy. Beginning service between 2503 and 2513,[1] most Pelicans are equipped with 70mm chainguns and rockets in their wings. They can also carry a Warthog or Scorpion tank attached to their tails.
Known models include:
- D77-TC Pelican Dropship- The variant operated prior to and during most of 2552
- D77H-TCI Pelican Dropship- The newer variant of the Pelican, in operation since November, 2552
- D77H-TCLE Pelican Dropship - A variant used by law enforcement.
