| The Case is an object seen in Part 2 of the [[Arms Race]] video trilogy.

| It was found in a pile of wreckage and rubble by [[S. Hartley]] using a [[Scanner]].

| The apparent fact that Delta Team was specifically deployed to find The Case (due to the Appearance of the Scanner) indicates that The Case is of high importance.

| While some have speculated that The Case is an ammunition crate for a SPNKr missile clip, The Case appears to be a plastic or metal case instead of the wooden crate that SPNKr missiles come in.

| The case is actually a cover for a kind of laser targetting device, used to target Master Chief's renetry cometwhen it seperates from the main one upon his reentry on earth. They successfully beam this information to a Pelican dropship, who give it to the recovery team.
