Chu'ot was a planet that the Jackal homeworld orbited as a satellite.

It lies within the inner region of the system's massive asteroid belt. The worlds surface was characterized by a single large ocean, sparse volcanic activity and an almost total lack of glacification. About one third of the Kig-yar population in the Y'Deio system called the satellite, Eayn, their home. The remaining Jackals have chosen to set up colonies within the asteroid belt since their discovery by the Covenant.
Chu'ot is a large Neptune-sized planet orbiting the star Y'Deio in Covenant space. The Kig-Yar homeworld orbits the planet.
