| Featured article status is decided by the panel known as the [[H:Monitors|Monitors of Halopedia]]. While any user can nominate an article for featured article status, a vote of at least four out of the eight Monitors is necessary to confirm it. After a time, however, detrimental edits to an article or a reconsideration of the article's notability or quality may compel the removal of Featured Article status from an article. A vote of three out of eight Monitors is required to remove status.
