- First Battle of Mombasa - The capturing of New Mombasa by the Covenant on October 22, 2552, and its decisive recapture by the UNSC, led by SPARTAN-117, and culminating in the Prophet of Regret's Assault Carrier transitioning to Slipspace within the city, incinerating it.
- Second Battle of Mombasa- The battle fought after the prophet flees. This battle is fought in the ruins of the city after the collapse of the portal.
