Template:FoF Template:Weapon The Missile Pod is a ground weapon in use by the United Nations Space Command.
Introduction
The Missile Pod is a missile-launching weapon. It can hold up to 8 missiles. The missiles are highly explosive and this weapon is capable of tracking down targets.[1]
Operation
It is a missile launcher type weapon and can only carry 8 rounds.
Once picked up the player will appear in third person view. Due to the weapon's weight, the wielder will run at a slower pace.[2] Also, it is said to be fairly harder to aim while in this mode.
The rounds are capable of tracking targets. This weapon will replace the Halo 2 SPNKrs' ability to lock on to vehicles as it was stated by Frankie that the rocket launcher no longer locks on.
Trivia
- This is one of possibly three current third-person view weapons. The other is the AIE-486H Heavy Machinegun. It is possible that there is also a Covenant version of the turret, the Plasma Turret. In the Et Tu, Brute? ViDoc, a Brute and the Arbiter are seen carrying one respectively.
- The Missile Pod could possibly be the M19-B SAM Missile Launcher that was used by Alpha Company and Beta Company.
