^ Thank goodness somebody finally said that. In the military, soldiers are trained <u>not</u> to aim for the head. But in terms of rifle vs pistol ammunition, rifle ammunition usually has better range, speed, accuracy, and penetration. Pistol rounds, however, are much better at close quarters because they don't need as long of a barrel, they have better power than a rifle at short range, and usually have an easier kickback and muzzle climb.
