This charger is used to recharge the Spartan Laser
The PP-16979/AM-Sh is the United Nations Space Command recharger for the Spartan Laser.
It recharges the integrated non-replaceable BA-53635/PLMD battery of the Spartan Laser. However, UNSC logistics are insufficient to provide rechargers in the field so most Spartan Laser units are not accompanied with a PP-16979/AM-Sh recharger. Therefore it has a limited use before discarding.
