| I know that the site has had a problem with people joining and somehow gaining points without editing. I received a message from a user by the name of [[User:Gruntgun|Gruntgun]] telling me that "(his) previous account was banned about something called point whoring." I took a look at his page, and saw he had 1,500 points. I saw he had uploaded an avatar, so with some simple math I found he must have made 8 mainspace contributions for that total. I looked at the ''Recent Activity'' section on his profile, and saw he had somehow gained rank and the ''Five edits milestone.'' But in that section, it says nothing about him editing. I check his contribs just to make sure, and I find all eight mainspace edits. I looked at the diffs, and he did make a change (it's subtle, mostly punctuation). Anyway, the whole message thingy was months ago for a Halo Fanon project...(kinda linking both wikis)...long before the new system was implemented...don't worry...That project has been abandoned for good....
