Blue team is the usual designation for the Master Cheif's squad. Originally comprised of Spartan 117 John, Spartan Sam, Spartan Kelly, Spartan Linda, and Spartan Fred. After Sam's death on the convenant ship, he was replaced by Spartan 051 Kurt. After that, kurt was presumed dead, when he was taken by Ackerson to train the Spartan III's.
