[[Team Katana]] was a [[SPARTAN-III]] team competing in a challenge for high honors. The team contained 5 spartans but the names haven't been revealed at the moment. During the Battle of Onyx the team was captured and placed in the Forerunner equivalent of a Cryo-tube.[2] As of yet Katana has not been unfrozen as they have been placed inside The Sharpened Shield with a number of other Spartans, Doctor Halsey, and Chief Petty Officer Mendez, who have no idea how to get them out.
