The Covenant Destroyer[1] is a warship classification within the Covenant Navy.
Background
This class of starship is extremely well-armed, boasting multiple pulse laser turrets, plasma torpedo launcher(s) and Seraph-class starfighters. Jacob Keyes noted its weapons systems, saying it turned UNSC ships into "Swiss cheese".
This dangerous warship classification has the distinctive three huge sections of heavier Covenant warships, mirroring the lethality of its larger cousins. They usually are escorting the bigger warships and will deal out deadly blows in the event the bigger warships are attacked and can hold their own in a fight.
Probably the most well-known ship of this class was the Bloodied Spirit, captured by three SPARTAN-IIs, Fred, Will, and Linda, in a haphazard plan which recovered captured nuclear warheads, eliminated another Brute-controlled destroyer, and gave them a much faster ship to take them to Onyx.
