The UNSC Glasgow Kiss was a United Nations Space Command destroyer in 2552 within Battlegroup Stalingrad.
Background
The ship part of Admiral Carl "Buster" Patterson's task force sent to Onyx to retrieve Dr. Catherine Halsey as well as the Spartan-IIs and Spartan-IIIs. During the first attack on Covenant ships in orbit in the Battle of Onyx, it moved to protect the flagship UNSC Stalingrad from enemy fire. Glasgow Kiss was subsequently destroyed by plasma meant for the flagship, although many of her crew survived in escape pods.[2]
Historical Meaning
Refers to the Scottish Earth city of Glasgow. "Glasgow kiss" is a colloquialism for a head butt.
