Eternal Spring was a fifth generation "smart" A.I. (Artificial Intelligance). It was likely operational from 2530 to 2537.
Eternal Spring was assigned to Onyx and the planetary survey team in the area of Zone 67. After Camp Currahee was established there, Eternal Spring agreed to devote nine percent of his runtime to the Spartan-III project.[1] He got along well with Spartan-051, who was happy for its help, despite his occasional theatrics. It helped in the training of the Spartan-III Alpha Company until It "died." It was then quickly replaced with another smart A.I., Deep Winter.[2]
