Template:Rank Infobox Corporal is the fourth enlisted rank in the UNSC Marine Corps and the UNSC Army, and is the lowest rank of non-commissioned officer. It is equal in rank to Petty Officer Third Class in the UNSC Navy.

Promotion to Corporal is competitive. From this point onward, promotion no longer depends on time in service.

The UNSC Marine Corps rank of Corporal is equal in pay grade to the UNSC Army Corporal and Specialist. However, a Specialist is not a leadership role in the Army and must take commands from Corporals, even though they are the same pay grade.

The Marine Corps stresses leadership in all its ranks, so a Corporal is commonly seen as a Squad Leader which is a position usually held by Sergeants in the Army.
