| The '''3rd Orbital Drop Shock Trooper Battalion''' was one of many units of [[UNSC]] [[Orbital Drop Shock Troopers]] in operation in [[2552]]. Members of this battalion were stationed aboard the ''[[UNSC In Amber Clad]]'' during [[The First Battle of Earth]]. It is they who traveled to [[Installation 05]] and "Helljumped" to the surface along with the [[Master Chief]]. They are the only [[ODST's]] seen in the [[Halo 2]] video game.
