The Covenant Light Cruiser is a capital warship classification within the Covenant Navy. Covenant Light Cruisers have been described as resembling "luminous manta rays". [1] Several Light Cruisers were used over Reach during the occupation campaign.[2]

The Halo Encyclopedia uses an image of a CCS-class Battlecruiser in its entry for the Covenant Light Cruiser. While this is most likely an error, it's possible that the Light Cruiser is merely a scaled down version of the CCS-class.
