Zawaz was an orange armored Covenant Minor Grunt. In the 9th Age of Reclamation, he was assigned as a foot soldier on board a Covenant cruiser.
Zawaz landed on Reach along with the rest of the Covenant. He was supposed to be on the lookout for threats to the landing zone of a Covenant cruiser. He fell asleep on duty and woke up dropping an expensive Covenant device. It still worked, so he was very greatful. He spotted three Banshee aircraft but failed to report them through his radio (as he was scared that they might be Elites on a "secret mission").[1] Unfortunately for him, those Banshees were piloted by Frederic-104, Joshua-029, and Kelly-087.[2] The Spartans nuked the destroyer's Gravity Lift, probably killing Zawaz (along with the rest of the crew of the ship) in the process.[3]
