Zawaz was an orange armored Covenant Minor Grunt. In the 9th Age of Reclamation, he was assigned as a foot soldier on board a Covenant cruiser.
Zawaz landed on Reach along with the rest of the Covenant. He was supposed to be on the lookout for threats to the landing zone of a Covenant cruiser. He spotted three Banshee aircraft but failed to report them through his radio (as he was scared that they might be Elites on a "secret mission").[1] Unfortunately for him, those Banshees were piloted by Frederic-104, Joshua-029, and Kelly-087.[2] The Spartans nuked the destroyer's Gravity Lift, killing Zawaz (along with the rest of the crew of the ship) in the process.[3]
