Vice Admiral Gerov was a flag officer in the UNSC in 2552. He had a daughter, Anna Gerov. Captain Keyes thought at one time that Ensign William Lovell had an affair with Gerov's daughter, and for it he was punished, demoted to Ensign, (Ensign Lovell) and sent to the remote sensing outpost Archimedes.[1]
