Template:Weapons List The MA2B Assault Rifle is a stripped down version of the MA5B Assault Rifle. Using the same core components as an MA5B but with as little extra equipment as possible. This weapon was referred to as an MA2B rifle. The Spartans used these weapons periodically in the books when they wanted to have very little ordinance for a mission. They used these rifles first when capturing Colonel Robert Watts of the Eridanus Rebels.[1] It would be assumed that this weapon has the same rate of fire as the MA5B Assault Rifle.
