Before I go ahead and unilaterally delete this, I'd like to give the community a chance to speak on this. I contend that this page isn't notable enough to be needed. Its only notable event is the start of World War II. 1945 has received mentions in numerous timelines including the Encyclopedia, whereas 1939 not was not noted. It also seems to be arguing that "Great Patriot War" means WWII as if that's uncertain, when that is definitely what Vasily Beloi was talking about. -- Rusty-112 Admin ^comm 22:39, February 12, 2025 (EST)

The Great Patriotic War thing is from the World War II page. I had originally written it to be consistent with regular Halo lore as there have been a handful of times where real life elements in Halo lore have been changed (see the Caribbean Ocean from Ghosts of Onyx for example). I can change that on the original page to be more obvious. As for this page, 1939, your reasoning is sound to me though it fits relatively consistently with our other date pages that also have singular mentions from real life, like 79.
