'''VX 7 nerve gas''' is a type of [[Wikipedia:Nerve agent|nerve agent]] used by the [[United Nations Space Command]] armed forces. It is likely an updated version of the highly toxic [[Wikipedia:VX (nerve agent)|VX nerve agent]] introduced after [[World War II]].

[[List of UNSC crates|Canisters]] containing the nerve gas were strewn throughout [[New Mombasa]] during the [[Covenant]]'s [[Battle of Mombasa|attack on the city]].{{Ref/Level|H2|Metropolis}} The {{UNSCShip|In Amber Clad}} had a stock of VX 7 canisters and seemingly deployed some to the surface of [[Installation 05]]. [[Jiralhanae]] forces captured some of the gas and likely planned to use it against the humans.{{Ref/Level|H2|Uprising}}
