Tau Ceti is a star system. The system is surrounded by an Oort cloud.[1]

History[edit]

Human-Covenant War[edit]

Main article: Human-Covenant War

This system was inhabited by a significant Covenant presence in 2552, including the refit and repair station Unyielding Hierophant, accompanied by a massive fleet of warships prepared to attack Earth. The station was destroyed by UNSC forces on September 13, 2552, including the majority of the Covenant fleet.[2]

Postwar[edit]

By November 13, 2559, a Covenant remnant group was performing a salvage operation in the system. The UNSC From the Ashes was assigned to recon the operation.[3]
