'''Myriad''' was a [[Mgalekgolo]] [[bond brother]] pair in service of the [[Banished]]. They were present for the Banished [[Battle for Zeta Halo|occupation]] of [[Installation 07]] in [[2560]] where they served as part of the Fifth Lance in the First Combat Element within the [[Hordeworms of Svir]].{{Ref/Reuse|Target14}} During this conflict, Myriad was killed by [[John-117]].{{Ref/Reuse|Hi}}

Myriad, like [[Colony]]—another bond brother pair serving the Banished—and the [[Swarmlord]]s serving under [[Ke 'Nzahz]] in his [[Ke 'Nzahz's Evocati|ex-Covenant Evocati]] order, represented a peculiar behavioral evolution in [[Mgalekgolo]], trending from a more subservient hivemind to a more individualized identity and intelligence.{{Ref/Reuse|Target14}} Unlike Colony, Myriad did not demonstrate the same level of command authority to the point of commanding all Lekgolo forces in its respective theatre; instead simply tasked as the leaders of the Fifth [[Lance]] in the First [[Combat Element]] of the [[Hordeworms of Svir]].{{Ref/Site|Id=CFDidact|URL=https://www.halowaypoint.com/news/canon-fodder-didact-delights|Site=Halo Waypoint|Page=Canon Fodder - Didact's Delight|D=18|M=05|Y=2023}}{{Ref/Reuse|Target14}}

During this time, the pair came under the attention of the [[United Nations Space Command]] for previously having been responsible for the deaths of two full [[fireteam]]s of [[Spartan-IV]]s.{{Ref/Reuse|Target14}}{{Ref/Book|Enc22|Page=451}} This led to them being identified as high-value targets by [[the Weapon]], who passed their information on to [[Spartan-II]] [[John-117]]. During the Installation 07 conflict, the Myriad pair was outfitted with Mgalekgolo harnesses and shields colored in the same shade of maroon as other high-ranking Banished personnel, as well as the red-colored [[assault cannon]]s fielded by [[Ardent Mgalekgolo]].{{Ref/Reuse|Hi}} The pair carried a modified [[Cindershot]] called [[Backdraft Cindershot]], although they did not field it in their battle against John-117.{{Ref/Reuse|Target14}}
