==Service history==

The ''Seeker of Truth'' commanded by Thel 'Vadamee was present during the [[Fall of Reach]], where he led the [[Fleet of Particular Justice]] and eventually [[glassing|glassed]] [[Reach|the planet]]. The remains of the fleet followed the {{UNSCShip|Pillar of Autumn}} to [[Installation 04]] when it fled the system.{{Ref/Comic|Id=succor|HGN|Story=The Last Voyage of the Infinite Succor}}

After leaving the [[Epsilon Eridani system]] and discovering Installation 04, the [[Prophet of Stewardship]] and 'Vadamee met aboard ''Seeker of Truth''. They attempted to contact ''[[High Charity]]'' to ensure the interpretation of their scripture was accurate but were unable to do so.{{Ref/Reuse|LC3}}{{Ref/Novel|Id=flood|HTF|Section=Adjunct|[[Priority Broadcast Log/Eleventh Cycle, Third Unit]]}} When ''Pillar of Autumn'' exited slipspace in the [[Soell system|system]], ''Seeker of Truth'' and several other vessels launched [[dropship]]s and [[Brhi Xur-pattern Leech|Leech]] boarding craft in a failed attempt to capture the ship.{{Ref/Game|Id=h2a terminal13|H2A|Terminal (Halo 2: Anniversary)|Terminal #13}} During the [[Battle of Installation 04]], the Prophet of Stewardship relocated to the [[Ruma-pattern light carrier|carrier]] ''[[Ascendant Justice]]''.{{Ref/Reuse|flood}} Later in the battle, the ''[[Infinite Succor]]'' activated its emergency beacon. Late in the battle of Installation 04, 'Vadamee would take a strike force and board the ''[[Ascendant Justice]]'', leaving ''Seeker of Truth''. When the Supreme Commander realized that the destruction of the installation was imminent, he had the entire fleet take cover behind the gas giant [[Threshold]].{{Ref/Reuse|flood}} Whether the ''Seeker of Truth'' survived the destruction of Installation 04 remains unknown.

Though both the Definitive Edition of ''Halo: The Flood'' and ''[[Halo 2: Anniversary]]''{{'}}s terminals portray ''Seeker of Truth'' as 'Vadamee's command vessel, ''[[Halo: First Strike]]'' (released years before the ''Halo Graphic Novel'') strongly implies that his flagship was instead ''[[Ascendant Justice]]''. This is erroneously stated as fact on the Arbiter's [https://www.halowaypoint.com/en-us/universe/characters/arbiter-thel-vadam Halo Waypoint biography].  

While ''Seeker of Truth''{{'}}s class has been used to be not stated in canon and the novels referred to the ship simply as a Covenant flagship, in the ''Halo 2: Anniversary''{{'}}s terminals, the vessel is depicted in the likeness of a ''Kerel''-pattern assault carrier from ''[[Halo 3]]''.{{Ref/Reuse|h2a terminal13}} In ''[[The Heretic]]'' level in both ''[[Halo 2]]'' and ''Halo 2: Anniversary'', the ''Seeker of Truth'' (the ship leading the Covenant fleet that was pursuing the ''Pillar of Autumn''), like all assault carriers on the game, was depicted as a {{Pattern|Syfon|assault carrier}}, sharing the same design as the ''[[Solemn Penance]]'' and ''[[Day of Jubilation]]''.{{Ref/Level|Id=heretic|H2|The Heretic}}
