The Alabaster system was a star system in the Outer Colonies, under the control of the UEG. It is at the confluence of several slipspace routes.[1] The system contains what appears to be an emission nebula, which is close enough to the planet Concord to be visible to the naked eye in the northern hemisphere, dominating a large portion of the sky and giving off a distinct orange glow.
